Systema Solar defines itself as a musical-visual collective from the Caribbean coast of Colombia that combines the richness of Afro-Caribbean vibrations with traditonal Colombian music. Their artistic proposal is based on the creation of audio-visual performances with their own style, which they called berbenautika, influenced by the spirit of the Colombian piko culture (sound system style performances). The group comes together to create, adapt and reinvent different music through improvisation, emphasizing the cult of joy and dance.
